We live in an area in Kungsbacka called Björkris. Most of the houses are built around 2011. There’s also a school and pre school in the area. Before this area was built it was plain countryside here. Just behind our houses there is a forest and open fields.

If you want something quick and easy to eat, there is pretty good pizza and Thai food available, by two minutes walk at the ”clock house” as the kids in the area says.

Opposite the restaurants you can see the school and a playground where all the younger children spends most of their time.

If you pass the playground you will come to ICA Maxi which is a big supermarket, open from 8 am to 10 pm all days. And when you are done with the groceries, from there you can just start shopping, you have Hede Fashion Outlet just around the corner.

There you can find a lot of clothes shops, sports wear, kitchen stuff, toys and a lot more from the more expensive brands, but cheaper since this is an outlet. In there you can also a few restaurants and ”fika” places.

Around Hede Fashion outlet there are also a lot of other stores, for example Stadium, Rusta, Mio, Systembolaget, Plantagen etc.

Tired of Björkris? Move on to Kungsbacka, take the car and park somewhere along the streets. You can park for free on most places for an hour with a parking disc ( you can borrow ours, we’ll leave it on the kitchen table for you, but please return it :-)). Its also perfectly fine to take the bike into Kungsbacka centre, 4,5 km and a bicycle path all the way.

You can also take the train from Hede station, one stop, to Kungsbacka (2 mins) There are also buses leaving from there.
If you want to go to Gothenburg, the train also leaves from Hede station (and also from Kungsbacka station). It takes 22 minutes to travel to Gothenburg.
